To share your map in google drive to other users, use 'share' option at 'drive.google.com' or click on 'Share via Drive' button on top bar of Mindmap Maker. Share it to all users so that it can be accessed by all users who has a google account.

Due to a new upgrade from Google, it will not work with incognito mode.

Try these,

1. Use a new browser/computer and then try.

2. Try clearing browser data for all time. It is described in the above mentioned link.

3. I understand you don't want to mess with your current Chrome setup. You can do one thing. Add another chrome user. Thus it will have its own browsing data setup. You can use this new chrome browser to work with Mindmap Maker.

I checked it from my end and see that 'inherit' function is working for 'Border shape'. Pressing 'inherit' on the child will not work. You have to press 'inherit' on the parent node and the its child nodes will be modified.

Hi,

While you save in Google Drive, it won't autosave. You have to save it manually.

For autosaving, use 'Local Storage'.

Try to download the file and open it directly.

Go to, 'Document'->Open->'Choose File' beneath 'From File'.

Then select your file.

It should open successfully.

I tried opening your file, and only the root node is shown. It says 'Partido Digital'

I checked the app and seems it is working fine. I can edit new nodes and existing nodes by double clicking the node or press F2 after selecting a node.

The 'share' button only works if you have saved your mindmap in 'Mindmap Public Server'. Otherwise it has no meaning. If you have saved your mindmap in 'Mindmap Public Server', then a window will appear to share your mindmap.

From this 'share' menu, you can share your mindmap to other people via 'Facebook' or 'Twitter' or 'Google Plus'.

You will also get 'Permanent Url' and 'Short Url' to your mindmap. You can use these urls to share your mindmap to other people publically.

2. By pressing this button, does this mean that my mindmap is now publicly accessible/searchable? ////

No. Your mindmap cannot be publically accessible/searchable. This button is used to share your mindmap to other people via Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus or via direct url.

2(a). If so, is there a way to make it private again? (my apologies for pressing a button I did not understand!)

Your map is private if you have saved your map in Google Drive. If it is saved in Mindmap Server, then it is public. However you need the URL to open the mindmap. Without the URL, none can access it even if you have saved the map in Mindmap Server.

Mindmaps new update

Hi Azeem.

Today I got a new Mindmaps update that is prevent me from studingin the best way.

First, the "Save As" menu is not opening anymore. Secondly, the ads footer is too big, taking too much of the usable screen, and I'm unable to close it.

I really enjoy the updates you did to Mindmaps and I believe you may ask for something in return of your hard work, but to force Ads down to your users, without giving an alternative, does not look like the best way.

There is another thing that makes me ansious about using Mindmaps. Since I was unable to find the source code with your Mindmaps version, I'm afraid you might lose interest some day, and I lose access to my mind maps. Is there an open source somewhere or are you planning on sharing it someday?

New App Update Obscures Bottom of Screen

My computer prompted me to update to the new app today; however, now the bottom of the screen has stretched up and is covering more content, and showing a distracting advertisement. Is it possible to revert to the old layout (with a less obtrusive bottom menu)? My map is quite large and the decreased visibility is making it more difficult to use.

After updating to newer version of MMM, it is giving an error when I try to open existing map from Google Drive.

I had saved my map in Google Drive. When I go there are try to open it, it gives me a page of text and the option to open wiht Mind Map Maker. When I click that, it brings up the authorization box and asks me to log into my google account. Then it takes me to a blank map and says Network Error: unable to fetch map.

Does this mean I've lost all my work?

Remove connection button not present

When I create a connection between two nodes it works fine but I notice that the "Remove connection" button is no more available when I click on the node again later on. The only way to delete the connection is to recreate the connection in order to be able to use the remove button which is then available right after the creation.

I have personal and business Google Drive accounts. Mind Map Maker currently opens and saves files to my personal Google Drive. How can I have Mind Map Maker point instead to my business Google Drive account - so I can open / save from that account instead? When I attempt to open a Mind Map Maker .json file from my business Google Drive account, Mind Map Maker gives an error message. When I choose the Documents > Open and Documents > Save As and select "Google Drive", I get a file menu from my personal Google Drive account, with no means to switch to my business account.

Image insertion issue

I am a big fan of you app and use it heavily. I just have one issue.

I attached an image in one node and then attached another image in another node.

When I open the second node again, it shows the image of the first node. Any subsequest image attachement to

any other node is showing the image of first node only. Please fix this issue.

However, I had an unpleasant surprise today when I tried to open a file from the computer and I got an error saying the file was not a valid map.

I have just started using Mind Map Maker. With my first map, I have 5 nodes from the main idea, and a total of 16 child nodes off of those 5. Now, when I add any further nodes or sub-nodes, it won't let me edit the text. I've tried double clicking and using F2 and neither will highlight the text for editing. Can you help?

Bug with images in attachments

I like to put images to illustrate my nodes. As these take to much place in the actual mindmap I tried to include them as attachements so that I select attachment and see the image.

There seems to be a bug because when I have attached the first image by selecting the image icone and then selecting the image I want , when I do that in another node selecting a different image the first image appears, so it seems to be including the samel image as before.

Are you aware of this bug?
