Is it possible to select two or more "ideas" so that one can apply styling edits to all of them at once?

Currently, this feature is not implemented. It is in the 'to-do' list. New features are getting completed. Give it a month.

Btw, you can apply same settings to all child nodes of a parent node by using the 'inherit' button. Select a parent node and click on 'inherit' on corresponding property to get the property applied to all children of that node.
