Is there a way to know who is editing a shared map on Goggle drive?

We have shared a map via Google drive, when someone is editing the map there is no indicator and no one can see the changes unless they close the mindmap, and open a newly saved version.

We are closely working on realtime collaboration model. It is almost complete and should be live early part of next month. In realtime collaboration, multiple users can edit the map simultaneously in an interactive manner.

The feature you asked for, that is, seeing changes on a shared map is not applicable for the current model. Realtime collaboration will address this and it is using Google Drive Realtime API.
