Is there a way to make the map saved or locked in some way so you can share it without some one else making changes?

I love this tool and have introduced it to some of my colleagues and we would like to shae it more but we want to set it where we have it and no changes can be made

You can save the map in Google Drive and share it with your friends. While sharing, set the share status as 'read only' so that your friends cannot edit the document. They can only read it.

If you save the map in public server, it can be viewed by all users anonymously. They can see the map, edit it and save it as a new file.
